Kimberly Haynes
Attorney Kimberly K. Haynes is among Atlanta and Baton Rouge's elite civically engaged leaders within the professional community. A graduate of Spelman College and Tulane University School of Law, Haynes is Founder and CEO of OMBI Group LLC, a premier sports and entertainment firm specializing in the representation of sports and entertainment professionals and executives. She is also Principal of Haynes Johnson LLC, a boutique entertainment law firm handling music, film, television, and literary matters, civil litigation, estate planning, and small business needs. With over 15 years of experience, Haynes has nurtured OMBI Group and Haynes Johnson into successful organizations that specialize in managing professional athletes and entertainers’ professional and personal endeavors, in addition to cultivating a full-service nonprofit consulting group. In 2016, Haynes expanded OMBI Group into a legal and business management firm servicing clients in the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, and the entertainment industry. A short two years later, in 2018, Haynes was awarded the Chairman's Award by the Entertainment, Sports, and Art Law Section of the National Bar Association. Born into a family of entrepreneurs, raised by philanthropic parents, Haynes continues to uphold the foundation upon which she was nurtured. As a result, Haynes genuinely developed a natural passion for giving back. She coins this passion, “Giving Gracefully”. RG Sports Consulting Founder/Attorney
Renee Gomila
Renee currently operates RG Sports Consulting, providing NCAA compliance and legal advice to college coaches, administrators, student-athletes, and prospects. She works directly with coaches, student-athletes, and administrators, representing them during NCAA investigations and Committee on Infractions cases, student-athlete waiver issues, and coaches’ misconduct hearings. She also works with agents, collectives, and other third parties to provide NCAA compliance interpretations and NIL advice. Renee served as an NCAA Associate Director of Enforcement from 2002 to 2014, where she helped lead multiple investigations of NCAA rule violations and, among other things, liaised and coordinated with the NCAA Recruiting Cabinet and Football Issues Subcommittee and worked with the student-athlete reinstatement staff on eligibility issues. Renee coordinated the enforcement department’s football development plans for Florida and Texas, working directly with college and high school football coaches, student-athletes, and administrators to provide rules interpretations and address recruiting and eligibility issues. Before joining the NCAA, Renee worked in the athletics compliance office at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Renee received her law degree from Tulane University in 2000. She received her Master of Science, in Criminal Justice from Florida International University (FIU) in 1996, and her Bachelor of Science, in Criminal Justice from FIU in 1994. As part of her consulting work, Renee works with insurance firm, James D. Edgeworth, to advocate for insurance and related benefits for student-athletes, and she consults with law firms to assess legal and risk management issues within football and men’s basketball programs. Renee also serves as an adjunct and guest professor teaching sports law classes specific to NCAA legislation and litigation.

Erinn Banks
Erinn Banks was promoted to the department's Associate Athletic Director for NCAA compliance in August 2021. In her new capacity, Banks serves as the point person for all matters related to NCAA compliance, including education, interpretations, and waivers. She serves as the direct liaison with the NCAA and the American Athletic Conference. She also oversees Student-Athlete Enhancement. Banks joined Tulane University in September 2015 as Associate Director for NCAA compliance. Banks came to Tulane from the Sun Belt Conference, where she worked as a compliance coordinator from 2013-15. Banks was a compliance assistant at the Sun Belt from 2012-13 after serving as a compliance intern at Colorado State University in 2012. A native of Littleton, Colo., Banks earned a bachelor of arts from Loyola University New Orleans in 2009, before earning a juris doctor from Tulane University Law School in 2013.

Alanna Sadler is a recent graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where she earned a joint J.D. and LL.M. with a focus in Entertainment & Sports Law. During her time at Miami Law, she interned for various sports-related entities, including the Miami Dolphins, the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, and Roc Nation Sports. Alanna recently passed the Florida Bar Exam and now works as Associate Counsel at Inter Miami CF.

Nicolette Jones
Nicolette Jones always dreamed of being a sports and entertainment lawyer. During her time at FSU Law, she joined the moot court team serving as secretary, and placed as a quarter finalist and won best petitioner brief at the Kaufman Securities Law Competition hosted by Fordham Law. During Jones’ 3L year, she was selected as a Florida Supreme Court Fellow, serving in Chief Justice Carlos Muñiz’s chambers. Jones was also a member of the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Society, which encouraged her to focus her upper level law school article on contributory copyright infringement. After graduating from FSU Law, Jones clerked at the Florida First District Court of Appeal. Jones believed if she focused her efforts on areas that she excelled in, her goals would become a reality. Luckily, that happened when Jones was hired by AMA Pro Racing this past year. AMA Pro is a sister company to NASCAR that serves as the sanctioning body and owner of American flat track Motorcycle racing, ATV Hill climb racing, Supercross, and Motocross. As the manager of business and legal affairs, Jones gets to touch on nearly every aspect of the business. She is involved in a significant amount of transactional work, including drafting track rental agreements and sponsorship contracts, as well as assisting in litigation matters. Of course, an important part of her job is keeping up with the company's intellectual property and anything else that the company may need! Jones is thankful to work for such a great organization.

By night, Kristin is a Game Day Assistant for the New Jersey Devils bringing marketing activations and promotions to life and enhancing the game day experience for all fans. Kristin graduated with her JD from Villanova University where she concentrated her studies in Sports Law and earned her Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University's Straus Institute. Kristin started her career in sports working as a Team Manager for Marist College's Football Team before joining the New York Jets after college graduation and eventually the NFL prior to law school. Vicky Neumeyer
Vicky Neumeyer was named Senior Vice President/General Counsel of the New Orleans Pelicans, in addition to serving in the same position for the New Orleans Saints, in June 2012, overseeing all legal aspects of both franchises. Providing comprehensive legal consultation and services to the clubs’ executive staff and assuring compliance in all of the organizations’ business endeavors, Neumeyer has been a key member of the Saints’ front office since joining the club in 2000. A member of the Louisiana and federal bar associations, before joining the Saints, Neumeyer spent over five years as an in-house corporate litigation attorney for Exxon. Previously she served as a judicial clerk for the Supreme Court of Louisiana and was in private practice as a consultant to major corporate clients and law firms. Neumeyer possesses extensive experience in Sports Law, including antitrust, labor, and organizational matters. She has also been invited to speak at several venues, including Harvard Law School, The Sports Lawyer’s Association annual conferences, American Bar Association programs, Tulane Law School, and Loyola Law School. She sits on the boards of the Sports Lawyers Association, The NOCCA Institute, Infinity Science Center as well as the advisory board of the Sports Law & Business Program of Arizona State University. After completing her undergraduate work Summa Cum Laude at the University of Wisconsin, Neumeyer earned a Master of Science Degree in Audiology at the school. She graduated with honors from Loyola Law School and attained a Master of Law with Distinction with a dual emphasis in Intellectual Property Law and Sports Law from Tulane School of Law.

Sonja Keating
Sonja S. Keating is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for the United States Equestrian Federation, the national governing body for equestrian sport. She has served the organization for over 18 years. Keating leads the organization’s operations, SafeSport initiative, serves as a legal and business advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, counsels the Board of Directors on all legal and governance issues, and manages all civil litigation. Ms. Keating is also an adjunct professor at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, where she teaches Equine Law. Keating serves as a member of the Advisory Committee to the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee’s National Governing Body Council, the Planning Committee for the National Conference on Equine Law, and a Board member for the Blue Grass Charity Foundation. Additionally, Keating serves as a member of the Advisory Council for the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit of Drug-Free Sport (HIWU), the independent enforcement agency of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority’s Anti-Doping and Medication Program. Keating is the past Chair of the Kentucky Bar Association Equine Law Section and past President of the Blue Grass Charity Foundation. She is a past member of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee NGB Task Force aimed to develop harmonious standards among the national governing bodies to address athlete abuse in sport, which led to the adoption of minimum standards for all national governing bodies’ safe sport initiatives and the creation of the U.S. Center for SafeSport. Keating earned a B.A. from Transylvania University and a law degree from the University of Kentucky. Additionally, she completed the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management’s Olympic Sport Leadership Certification Program and the Lexington Chamber of Commerce Leadership Lexington Program. Before joining US Equestrian, Keating practiced in the litigation department at the law firm Dinsmore & Shohl.
Counsel for the Jockey's Guild
Mindy Coleman
Mindy Coleman is counsel for the Jockeys’ Guild, Inc., which is the organization representing Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse jockeys racing in the United States. The Guild was founded in May 1940 to provide benefits, serve as the voice for jockeys in the racing industry, represent jockeys throughout the country and to monitor developments in local, state, and federal laws affecting the racing industry, and in particular, the jockeys. Ms. Coleman’s childhood was spent in the Northwest. She grew up with a passion for horses, including dressage and jumping horses, as well as race horses. Her family had both Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred racehorses, which ran in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. After graduating from Arizona State University in 2001 with her B.S., she received her J.D. from Gonzaga University in 2004. From December 2004 until becoming in-house counsel for the Jockeys’ Guild in 2009, Ms. Coleman had a private practice focusing on bankruptcy and construction litigation. As counsel for the Guild, she is able to combine her career with her passion for the sport of horse racing. When not working in the office, or at the races, she can be found spending time with friends at sporting events, watching polo matches, and exploring new places. She spends a considerable amount of time volunteering for three organizations in the industry that are very dear to her heart and have a significant impact: the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF), Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation (TRF), and Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA). Since 2021, she has been a member of the selection committee for the Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards presented by Godolphin which was created to recognize and reward “the outstanding talent, diligence, and commitment of the farm and racing stable staff” who are instrumental in the success of horse racing. She is also on the board for Miss Rodeo Kentucky and Lexington Children’s Theatre.

Katie Brezinski
Katie Brezinski is a Senior Counsel in the Labor Relations Department for the Office of the Commissioner at Major League Baseball. In her role, Katie is actively involved in the negotiation and administration of the four collective bargaining agreements covering the Major and Minor League players and the Major and Minor League umpires. This includes handling grievances, player discipline, contract disputes, and arbitrations. Prior to joining MLB, Katie was a Senior Associate at Jackson Lewis, a national labor and employment law firm, where she handled workplace investigations, employee trainings, active litigation, labor negotiations, and she regularly provided advice and counsel to clients. After graduating from Tulane Law and before joining Jackson Lewis, Katie clerked for a Department of Labor Administrative Law Judge in Covington, Louisiana. Katie received her undergraduate degree from Colby College in Maine and was born and raised in Denver, Colorado.

Moira Weinberg
Moira Weinberg is Senior Vice President, Investigations & Deputy General Counsel for Major League Baseball. Moira joined MLB’s Department of Investigations in January 2016 and began overseeing the Department in 2018. Moira’s group handles investigations of player, employee, and organizational misconduct, including performance-enhancing drug use, domestic violence, sexual assault, harassment, sports betting, sign stealing, and various international issues. Moira also developed MLB’s Youth Program Protection Policy, which governs child abuse prevention for MLB’s youth sports programs. Prior to joining MLB, Moira spent eight years in the Litigation Department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, where she handled criminal and civil litigations and investigations, including helping to conduct the NFL’s investigation into bullying on the Miami Dolphins. Moira started her career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Trial Division of the New York County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony offenses, including drug and domestic violence cases. Moira received her undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, and her legal degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
